Lucknow Public School, Sector-C, Unnao celebrated Diwali with gaiety and fervour on 29th November, 2024. Diwali is the festival of lights and people celebrate it with immense joy and enthusiasm. It symbolizes the return of lord Rama after fourteen years of exile and victory over Ravana. The day was marked by a special assembly conducted by the students of classes 3 to 5 to inculcate all the virtues and rich cultural heritage among students. The special assembly comprised of speech, song, action song and a dance highlighting the message of spreading, love, happiness, caring and sharing amongst people. Also, the students of Lucknow Public School, Sector C, brought some goodies like chips, biscuits, cakes, fruits, chocolates to be distributed among themselves to make their Diwali special. The highlight of the event was the Ravan face-making activity, where our tiny tots enthusiastically participated, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. A special assembly was conducted in the school premises by the students of pre – primary and classes I to V. The students participated enthusiastically in Fancy dress competition, Poem recitation and Speeches were also delivered. The pre-primary students enthusiastically participated by dressing up as Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, bringing to life the simplicity and leadership of these two great figures.

The Teachers' Day was celebrated at Lucknow Public School, Sector C, Unnao, on September 5th with great enthusiasm and zest. The event featured a warm welcome for teachers, a special assembly paying tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, and cultural performances by students. A student-teacher interaction session allowed students to express gratitude, strengthening their bond with the teachers. The day was a heartfelt tribute to the educators' significant role in shaping young minds, with sincere appreciation for their dedication and commitment.
The celebration of Janmashtami at Lucknow Public School, Sector C, Unnao, focussed on devotion, culture, and festivity. The school was decorated, and students and teachers dressed as Radha and Krishna to honor the teachings of Lord Krishna. The event aimed to instill values of love, devotion, and the triumph of good over evil while fostering unity and cultural appreciation. Pre-primary students also participated in the celebration.
The students of Lucknow Public School celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 17th August 2024 with full zeal and endeavour that one associates with this auspicious festival. The main objective behind celebrating ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was making the children aware about the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. The tiny tots, in traditional attires enthusiastically participated in tying rakhi on the wrist of their brothers whereas the brothers gave their sisters some gift or sweets. The vibrant, colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambience and lifted the spirit.
The Independence Day celebration at Lucknow Public School Sector – C was held to commemorate the 78th Anniversary of our nation’s independence. The event was a vibrant display of patriotism, unity, and school spirit, bringing together students, faculty, and parents.
The event commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by the Principal followed by the national anthem & national song sung by the school choir creating a solemn and patriotic atmosphere.The programme included a patriotic song by the school choir, a patriotic dance performance by Primary students, a Mime depicting struggle of Jallianwala Bagh performed by primary students, Hindi Elocution by the Primary students and musical medley of popular patriotic songs, rendered by the teachers. The programme concluded with the Udghosh by all the students.
The event not only honoured our country’s history but also fostered a sense of community and national pride among attendees.
n August 09, 2024, the Sector - C branch of Lucknow Public School hosted its inaugural Investiture Ceremony, marking the official induction of the newly appointed house bearers for the academic year 2024-25. The ceremony, filled with pride and anticipation, symbolized not only the awarding of badges but also the entrustment of significant responsibilities. Each house bearer was selected for their exemplary qualities of leadership, responsibility, and dedication. Our Headmistress and House In charges praised their achievements, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and encouraging them to lead by example. With the support of the management team and teachers, these young leaders are set to make a positive impact and inspire their peers.
The Kindergarten section of the school celebrated Blue Day on July 31, 2018. The significance of blue color was emphasized through various activities, and students came dressed in different shades of blue. Blue, symbolizing loyalty, strength, wisdom, and trust, had a positive impact on the children. They engaged in games and activities to recognize the color, and a blue whale was created through cotton dabbing. Overall, Blue Day was a memorable learning experience that fostered cognitive development and unity among the students. 🌟💙
Lucknow Public School, Unnao, celebrated the ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ on July 26,2024 to remember India’s war victory and to pay tribute to the Kargil’s martyr who were the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of our country. It was this day in 1999, when India recaptured the heights of Kargil from Pakistani infiltrators, ending the 60-day ‘Operation Vijay’ successfully. Indian soldiers showed tremendous courage and fought till the end to recapture the Kargil outposts from the Pakistanis. The students commemorated the day with skit on bravery of soldiers, sang patriotic songs, and filled the entire atmosphere with patriotism.
The teachers explained the significance of ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ to the students, followed by inspirational and emotional videos of the war, which made us felt proud of our soldiers and our country. Teachers and students together paid homage to the soldiers who lost their precious life in making our country safe and secure. Patriotism is a social value and its feeling when inculcated at the school level ensures that students become responsible citizens of the nation.

A special assembly on 'VAN MAHOTSAV - THE FESTIVAL Of TREES ' was conducted by the students of Classes I - V of LPS, Primary Wing, Unnao on 6/7/24 in the school premises with the motto to spread the message of importance of tree plantation. A plothera of events flooded the stage beginning with the name of Almighty God followed by insightful thought, fancy dress and skit by the students of Classes I to V . A heart touching poem on trees was recited by the students of Classes I and II. A mesmerizing and riveting dance performance on melodious environmental songs in graceful outfits was also presented by the students of Classes III to V.The program culminated by the rendition of the National Anthem.

The students of Lucknow Public School celebrated Mother’s Day on 11th May 2024 to honour our dedicated mothers, who sacrifice everything in the upbringing of their children.The event commenced with the Principal’s address wherein the School Principal Mrs. Rajni Singh welcomed the special guests of the day, the lovely mothers. Each mother was crowned with a handcrafted tiara, specially made by their child for the occasion. The students then presented Mothers’ Day songs to express their love for their beloved mothers. Various fun-filled games and activities like Musical Chairs, Ramp Walk, The non-fire cooking, nail art designing, and best out of waste were organized for the mothers. The winners were awarded by the Principal for their outstanding performances. To recreate the most memorable memories for the mothers, a movie featuring their photographs with their little ones was also played on the screen.
As we commemorate International Labour Day, we reflect on the tireless efforts and invaluable contributions of workers worldwide. This day serves as a reminder of the struggles, achievements, and ongoing fight for labor rights and dignity. On this special occasion, the students of the school organized a special assembly and for students of classes 1 and 2 a fancy dress competition was there on this memorable day. The students were dressed up very nicely and were looking very cute helper.We used this day to express our gratitude to individuals who have consistently contributed significantly for the efficient operation of our school. The children made beautiful thank you cards for the workers working in the school and present them to the workers with a beautiful gift.
Celebrating Heritage Day at school is a great way to promote cultural awareness and respect among students and staff. It also provides them with an opportunity to explore and appreciate the history and traditions of the country. By celebrating Heritage Day, students learn the importance of embracing diversity and become more informed about the different cultures that make up their country. A Special Assembly was conducted on 18th April on the occasion of the World Heritage Day. It consisted of an engaging line-up of events, beginning with a solemn prayer and the recitation of the pledge. An Inter-house competition was there on the theme “Cultural Heritage of India”. The inclusion of thoughts in both English and Hindi highlighted the cultural diversity and varied world heritage. A stimulating quiz was held to test the knowledge of the students present there fostering a spirit of healthy competition. Finally, the assembly culminated with the National Anthem, symbolizing our collective pride and allegiance to the nation.

Keeping this in mind LUCKNOW PUBLIC SCHOOL celebrated the WORLD HEALTH DAY on 6th April'24.On the occasion of this celebration a special assembly was conducted by the students of classes I to V. Various activities for different classes were put in order.There were colouring and paper tearing activity for Pre Primary classes, Stick Puppet Fruits and Vegetables were for classes I and II . Class III and IV participated for the activity of Clay Fruits and Vegetables and Salad making respectively.An inter- house competition on Zumba and Aerobics was held for the students of class 5th on this occasion.It was organised with the motto to promote the fitness, team work and sportsman spirit. The students from all the four houses competed in team. They performed very well and judges scored them on the basis of creativity,Synchronisation and energy. Karan house was the first prize winner and Eklavya stood 2nd.
