Lucknow Public School witnessed an unforgettable and joyous day on 9th December ,2023 as students, teachers, and staff came together to celebrate a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and various exciting activities. The event aimed not only to provide a break from routine studies but also to foster a sense of community and teamwork among the students. To balance the day with a touch of education, workshops and interactive sessions were conducted on topics ranging from art and science to personal development. These sessions not only provided valuable insights but also sparked curiosity and enthusiasm among the students. The fun-filled day at Lucknow Public School achieved its goal of fostering a sense of community, teamwork, and pure enjoyment among students and staff alike. It served as a reminder that while academic pursuits are essential, taking time to celebrate and connect on a personal level is equally important for the overall well-being of the school community.
The students from classes 1 to 5 gathered with excitement for their annual school picnic to Kanpur zoological park. Amidst cheerful chatter and giggles, the students boarded buses with their teachers and set off for a day filled with adventure, songs and games echoing through the bus. Upon arrival at the picturesque picnic spot, the children's eyes widened with amazement at the natural beauty that awaited them. The sprawling green grounds became the playground for a variety of outdoor games. The teachers ensured a balance between fun and learning by incorporating games that encouraged physical activity and coordination. Guided nature walks allowed the children to connect with the environment, fostering an appreciation for nature. Students eagerly unpacked their lunches, sharing snacks and swapping stories. As the sun began to set, tired but elated, the students boarded the buses for their journey back to school. The school picnic for classes 1 to 5 had not only provided a day of joyous escapades but had also nurtured a sense of togetherness and appreciation for the world around them.
Picnics are a good source of enjoyment,learning experience and interesting outings.On 25th Nov’23 a picnic was organized for the students of Pre-Primary. The little ones of class Prep were taken to the Nandan Van park at Unnao.The picnic began with the kids clapping and singing songs in the bus. They played games, danced, sang and had their favourite snacks on the lush green lawns of the park. They enjoyed playing games, singing, dancing and relishing their favourite snacks outdoors. The little ones thoroughly enjoyed the day and their excitement continued even after they returned from the picnic.
Learning by doing is also known as experiential learning and hands on learning. It is a form of learning from one’s own actions and experiences, so when kids learn by doing things themselves, they recognize them longer than just memorizing them, moving forward on this type of learning, Lucknow Public School, Ansal organizes an activity for the tiny tots on every Saturday to make them learn new things through fun activities. The following activities which were organized were Puddle jump- from number to number ,Guess what’s in the box, Counting fun- with corns. Through all these activities, children were able to practice their dexterity and gross motor skills to analyze the figures and were able to enhance their memory and concentration power.

The Diwali celebrations at school often mean a festive look with diyas and lanterns adorning the class. The students of Lucknow Public School celebrated the festival of Diwali with great enthusiasm. To mark the occasion, an assembly was organised on 9th November 2023 by the students of classes III to V. It started with a solemn prayer to the almighty and a beautiful thought that filled our hearts and minds with love and harmony. The students talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. They also shared the guidelines of environment-friendly options for celebrating Diwali. Wonderful presentation of the assembly by the students instilled a sense of victory of light over darkness. The students of class III to V continued the Diwali celebration with various Inter house competitions .The entire presentation filled the hearts of all students with the spirit of Diwali and they enjoyed the celebrations wholeheartedly.
India is a secular country with diversified cultures and the significances in their own kind. As an endeavour to solidify the bond of oneness and unification, the country celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel on 31 st October as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). Lucknow Public School Unnao following the mandate organized various activities in the school premises in order to extend their heartfelt appreciation about the life and the involvement of the great leader, Sardar Patel. The idea was to infuse in the young future generation with values integrated with the knowledge and adoration about the country’s rich heritage. A throng of activities were organized all through the day to support the cause of promoting unity and celebrating “National Unity Day” in the school premises. A special morning assembly was organized. The programme started with the impressive speeches made by the students in English as well as Hindi on the life, history and the role of Sardar Patel in the freedom struggle to establish a harmonious society. A fancy dress followed by a role play to show unity.
Celebrating festivals is an integral part of learning at Lucknow Public School. Being a diverse country, through such celebrations, students not only learn the significance behind the festival, but they also learn to embrace other traditions and culture just like they do with their own. Celebrations bring the school community together, building a close bond between the children. Keeping up to this tradition, the festival of Dussehra was celebrated on 21st October 2023. Dussehra is a major Indian festival celebrated for 10 days, it also marks the end of Navratri. Dussehra signifies the victory of Lord Rama over the demon Ravan, hence it symbolizes the triumph of good over evil. Teachers presented a skit on Dussehra for students in which they showcased the life of Lord Rama. Students enjoyed the celebration and played dandiya.
The Unnao Branch of Lucknow Public School, resonated with a sense of pride and anticipation as the school community gathered for the much-awaited First Investiture Ceremony. This auspicious event, held on 12th August 2023 , marked the official induction of the newly appointed house bearers for the first academic year 2023-24. The event symbolised not just the conferring of badges but the entrustment of responsibilities upon young shoulders. Each house bearer was carefully selected, embodying the qualities of leadership, responsibility, and dedication that LPS, Unnao, holds dear. Our Head mistress ma’am, in her address, lauded the students' achievements and encouraged them to carry out their duties with utmost sincerity. She stressed the significance of teamwork and urged the house bearers to lead by example, demonstrating qualities that others could emulate.With the blessings of the management team and teachers, the house bearers are poised to create a positive impact and set an example for their peers.
The postal service was first commenced in the Roman Empire by Cyrus the great in the 6th Century BC. The first official postal service was introduced by Roman Emperor Augustus (30 BC- 14AD). World postal day is celebrated every year on 9th October, the anniversary of the Universal Postal Union, which started in 1874 in Switzerland. World Post Day started in 1969. Ms. Shubhangini Pathak, principal of the school shared facts and stories behind this communication channel in the morning assembly. She also told the students about the various changes that have taken place in the postal service. Students of pre – primary wing had a fun frolic day as they enjoyed world post day by doing relay race which was very tempting and students enjoyed a lot. The students of Grade I and II celebrated the world postal day on 6th October, 2023 by visiting post office. They were taken to the Head Post Office, where they interacted with the post office staff, saw various types of letters, stamps etc. They were informed about various services provided by the postal department. It was learning experience and a pleasurable day for the children.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan,” is a cleanliness drive initiated by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji Lucknow Public School conducted a rally on ‘Community Outreach’ on 15th September, 2023 in which the students participated with great enthusiasm and fervor along with a team of five teachers. The students revealed their active participation of educating the people about the proper disposal of waste. Public welcomed and appreciated the innovative and the beneficial approach undertaken by the trained students. The students were successful in guiding people how to dispose the domestic, industrial and agricultural waste, the use of blue and green dustbins, the prevention of dreadful diseases like dengue, malaria, the effects due to blockages etc. All issues were explained by our students. The campaign culminated with a strong 5 promise from the public that ‘Environment cleanliness’ is a prime priority which should be taken care of!!! The campaign ended by providing a hygiene kit to the shopkeepers and people living in slum areas by the students.
Every citizens dream should be to keep our ‘India Clean’ students of Lucknow Public School went to different areas of Unnao to make people aware about cleanliness and hygiene.
Students presented a short skit that in a colony people suffer with various diseases like Dengue, Chikungunya as there are mosquitoes in a colony due to lack of cleanliness through their drama they appealed the common public, to determine themselves for ensuring cleanliness in every corner of their surroundings which would further help to keep our nation clean & developed. Students also distributed paper bags to the local community people to make them aware about It was a very eye catching event. At the end this initiative was an eye opener for the local community.
Lucknow Public School, Unnao organized Cleanliness Drive under the mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan introduced by the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.The main objective of this programme was to spread awareness among the students about the significance of Cleanliness and its benefits. All the students from classes III to V had participated in the program organised by our school. The teachers, as well as all the non-teaching staff of the school, took part in the cleaning program of the entire park of our society. The sweepers of the school had to be the observers and were given the responsibility to instruct the students.The programme was begun by cleaning the corners of the park. Brooms and dusting sticks were picked with great enthusiasm and everyone started their jobs.Some of the students did the dusting of the benches. And others went to the park area to pick wrappers and litter lying scattered there. The wastes were properly disposed of in the dustbins.
The tiny tots of Lucknow Public School actively participated in the ‘Green School Drive’ wherein they involved in the campus cleaning activity. The little kids turned into the real brand ambassadors of this Swachhta Mission. They were involved in cleaning up their class rooms, library, playground, activity room etc. The students actively took part in this learning while doing activity. They picked-up wrappers, papers, dry leaves, etc from the campus and disposed them off in proper dustbins. Through this activity, they learnt the proper and judicious segregation of biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes and their proper disposal. The ‘Blue’ and ‘Green’ -coloured dustbins were made familiar among these young Waste-Warriors and they further pledged to follow the same at home also.

Lucknow Public School Unnao, organised a special programme
on 30th September 2023 in the school ground , to commemorate the national festival, Gandhi Jayanti and celebrate the 154th birth anniversary of our father of nation – Mahatma Gandhi.
The students of classes I to V exuberantly participated in the event.
The entire programme was hosted by students of classes I to V. The programme commenced by bhajan which was a befitting tribute to the extraordinary soul, who was an epitome of peace and compassion. Moving a step ahead in helping the children understand what Mahatma Gandhi stood for- the very ideology and concept of non-violence, truth, honesty and love for humanity, was brought to the fore through the role play, by the students of classes I and II . The students paid their homage to Bapu through a melodious song depicting the simple life filled with integrity. Further, the students presented their view on ‘The ideology of Gandhian Philosophy and its relevance among today’s youth.’ The principal Ms. Shubhangini Pathak shared few insights of the ‘Mahatma’, in which she urged the students to imbibe the values and ideals of Gandhi and her thoughts on the importance of Gandhian Philosophy in the present-day world.
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the great deeds of Bapu were remembered and the audience was left with a sense of pride.

Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.
To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at Lucknow Public School on 6th September, 2023 with mirth and joy. While this religious importance is not lost, this day signifies a lot more to modern India; it signifies excitement, euphoria and a joyous spirit of enthrallment. To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, Lucknow Public School took the opportunity to both jubilate and learn with the young minds. A lot of fun-filled activities were organised like crown making, flute making etc. The purpose of the flamboyant celebration was to inculcate value of sharing and respect in the students.

14 सितम्बर 1949 को संविधान सभा में हिंदी को राजभाषा बनाने का निर्णय लिया गया I हिंदी के प्रति सम्मान एवं भाषा के उत्थान हेतु लखनऊ पब्लिक स्कूल उन्नाव में राजभाषा सप्ताह 06 सितम्बर से 14 सितम्बर तक मनाया गया। प्रथम दिन06.09.2023, को हिंदी भाषा के बारें में जागरूकता पैदा करने और विश्व भर में वैश्विक भाषा के रूप में प्रचारित करने के उद्देश्य से एक विशेष प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया गया जिसमे हमारे बाल वर्ग द्वारा प्रस्तुत स्वर माला ने सबका मन मोह लिया I 08.09.2023 को कक्षा III-V के छात्रों के लिए अंतर सदनीय व्याकरण प्रश्नोत्तरी का आयोजन किया गया जिसमे सभी सदन के छात्रोंने अपनी भागीदारिता दर्शायी। प्रधान कार्यालय की तरफ से 09.09.2023 को अनेक हिंदी क्रिया कलापो का आयोजन विद्यालय में किया गया जिसमे कक्षा I-V तक के छात्रों ने उत्साह पूर्वक हिस्सा गया लिया । वैभवी पटेल कक्षा १ को प्रथम , धृति शुक्ला कक्षा पांच को द्वितीय , और नारायणी कक्षा दो को सुलेख प्रतियोगिता में तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त हुआ I हिंदी सप्ताह के अंतर्गत अध्यापको हेतु भी विशिष्ट प्रतियोगिताओ का आयोजन मुख्य कार्यालय द्वारा दिनांक 10.09.2023 को श्री सी पी सिंह स्मृति सभागार सेक्टर आई शाखा में किया गया जिसमे श्रीमती शरद सिन्हा और शिवांगी शर्मा ने विज्ञापन डिजाइनिंग में प्रथम पुरुस्कार प्राप्त किया । दिनांक 12.09.23 को कई अंतर कक्षI प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया | विद्यालय में हिंदी सप्ताह के अंतर्गत कक्षा एक और दो के विद्यार्थियों ने प्रार्थना सभा में वाग्मिता का आयोजन दिनांक 13.09.23 को किया I

LPSians celebrated Raksha Bandhan with full zeal and endeavour that one associates with this auspicious festival. On the eve of Raksha Bandhan, various activities were conducted for the students in which they participated and showcased their creativity. It was a meaningful way to celebrate the festival and strengthen the bond of togetherness.
The tiny tots of classes Nursery and KG celebrated this festival with great zeal and endeavour. The main objective behind celebrating ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was to make the children aware of the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. The pre-primary wing of LPS was dressed in a festive look for the Raksha Bandhan celebration. The tiny tots, in traditional attires enthusiastically participated in tying rakhi on the wrist of their classmates, rakhi making. The vibrant, colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambiance of the classrooms.

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Lucknow Public School, C.P. Singh Foundation, P.D. Nagar. On this auspicious occasion, under the guidance of the teachers, various colorful programs were organized by the students of Branches- Sector B and Sector C. The event began with the hoisting of the flag by the Manager Sir in the presence of Director Ma'am, Principal Sector-B and Principal Sector-C. With the flag hoisting and the national anthem resonating through the campus, the entire school premises echoed with patriotic fervor.
The program commenced with a mesmerizing dance performance presented by the students of the pre-primary and primary classes. Children dressed in vibrant costumes resembling colorful flowers added to the charm of the performance. The next program, "I Love My India," a patriotic song performed by the students of the primary classes, filled everyone with a sense of excitement. The little ones dressed in fancy costumes representing national symbols left a lasting impression on the teachers and parents, highlighting the importance of patriotism in today's generation. The heartfelt Hindi speech delivered by a young student, Aaradhya, infused enthusiasm in everyone present.
The group presentations by students of Vl which instilled a sense of nationalism, resonated deeply with the audience, and applause echoed throughout the performances. While Shlok Trivedi's self-composed poem and Anshika Shukla's patriotic song sent shiver down the listeners' spines, Chitranshi Singh's speech inspired the youth to actively participate in the progress of the nation through patriotism.
The program concluded with a beautiful group dance presented by the junior classes, adding an extra sparkle to the event's grandeur. The teachers of the school presented a patriotic song that ignited a feeling of dedication to the nation among the students. At the end of the program, the Manager sir expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the efforts put into the performances and extended Independence Day greetings to the teachers, parents, and students, along with blessings for a bright future. The program ended with a vote of thanks and gratitude from Sector C's Principal,

Undoubtedly, the fact and figure about India have always been a matter of research and inspiration globally. To take a short glimpse on the same and to make the students aware about its Lucknow Public School organized a quiz –Quest Enigma on 10/08/23 to provide a platform to the students to explore a nation which is a land of spiritually and have a glorified history. Seven branches of LPS participated in the competition in preliminary round (phase -I), in which four were selected for the Phase –II round and the results were-Ahiyaraipur, Raibareilly stood First, LPS –Sector I grab the second position, LPS Unnao stood Third and consolation to LPS Sector D. The Quiz completion was a great success and definitely it will have encouraged students to participate in more such competition in future.
Lucknow Public School, Unnao, celebrated the ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ on July 26,2023 to remember India’s war victory and to pay tribute to the Kargil’s martyr who were the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of our country.
It was this day in 1999, when India recaptured the heights of Kargil from Pakistani infiltrators, ending the 60-day ‘Operation Vijay’ successfully. Indian soldiers showed tremendous courage and fought till the end to recapture the Kargil outposts from the Pakistanis. The students commemorated the day with speech on bravery of soldiers, sang patriotic songs and filled the entire atmosphere with patriotism. Students of pre - primary and classes I & II performed a dance.The teachers explained the significance of ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ to the students, which made us felt proud of our soldiers and our country. Patriotism is a social value and its feeling when inculcated at the school level ensures that students become responsible citizens of the nation.
Students, teachers and staff of Lucknow Public School, Unnao celebrated the Annual ‘Van Mahotsav’ Day on the 15th of July 2023 in the school premises. A “Go Green” initiative was introduced in the school to promote afforestation programs and the growth of trees. Students of classes III to V, teachers as well as other staff were gathered to conduct an Awareness rally in the nearby locality. The students held flags, banners as well as banderols brightly colored and decorated to attract the public and spread awareness. The rally consisted of nearly 50 students along with 10 teachers and other staff. The rally covered P.D. Nagar, an approximately 4 km long route.The members of the rally marched with slogans in the local areas to attract more people to this initiative. In the end, all the members gifted saplings to the nearby people.
Every year 1st July is celebrated as Doctor's Day. It is celebrated to mark the birth and death anniversary of the most famous physician of India, Dr. B. C Roy. This special day helps the common public to get aware of the roles, importance and the precious care of the doctors. To perceive the commitments of doctors, The students visited a hospital nearby as a Thanks to doctors for always taking good care of us day and night. The visit conveyed a thoughtful message by paying a perfect tribute to all the doctors who have made relentless efforts towards the lives of everyone and depicting the true symbol of love, charity, sacrifice, bravery, and courage. They are respected everywhere in society and are an inspiration for a lot of children.
This world has become a better and healthier place to live in with doctors bringing the joy of health and goodness to our lives. A doctor is bestowed to see and treat weakness in mankind. He is the one who can give us hope when we are in doom. To perceive the commitments of doctors, a special assembly was conducted by teachers of at Lucknow Public School, Sector C Unnao. With unsurpassed joy and vigor, they expressed gratitude and respect to the doctors for making our lives healthy and comfortable. Assembly initiated with a prayer followed by news and thought for the day. To get familiar with the doctor's contributions; various roles played by them in our lives was highlighted by the teachers in their vibrant speech.
The International Day of Yoga is celebrated every year 21st June in all over the world. International Yoga Day was celebrated by the teachers at Lucknow Public School school with great enthusiasm. Teachers of the school demonstrated various yoga asanas. Warm up exercises were taken and all performed sitting and standing asana, importance of these were explained simultaneously. The program ended with pledge taken by all the teachers to perform Yoga in day to day life. The Physical Education Teacher explained that the brown leaves symbolize the Earth element, the green leaves symbolize the Nature, blue symbolizes the Water element, brightness symbolizes the Fire element and the Sun symbolize the source of energy and inspiration. The logo reflects harmony and peace for humanity, which is the essence of Yoga. The teachers performed Pranayama (breath control) and other asanas were also taught to them.
